<p>JOB DESCRIPTION</p> <p>Position Overview</p> <p>As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for preventive, planned, and emergency maintenance in a fast-paced production environment. You will play a critical role in keeping equipment running safely, efficiently, and reliably while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Perform preventive, planned, and emergency maintenance on production equipment</p> </li><li> <p>Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and PLC-controlled systems</p> </li><li> <p>Support equipment changeovers and complete scheduled PMs</p> </li><li> <p>Diagnose and resolve issues in a live production environment</p> </li><li> <p>Perform quality checks to ensure equipment meets production standards</p> </li><li> <p>Work closely with maintenance, production, and support teams to minimize downtime</p> </li><li> <p>Complete all required training in compliance with Adient and customer standards</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications & Experience</p> <ul> <li> <p>High School Diploma or GED</p> </li><li> <p>Requires at least 3 years of relevant field experience.</p> </li><li> <p>Journeyman Card from the Department of Labor is a plus</p> </li><li> <p>Prior experience as a Millwright, Electrician, or Machine Repair Technician in an automotive manufacturing environment</p> </li><li> <p>Experience in automotive sheet metal stamping preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with large transfer and progressive dies is a plus</p> </li><li> <p>Working knowledge of PLCs</p> </li><li> <p>Able to work Second Shift: 1:45 p.m. - 9:45 p.m.</p> </li></ul> <p>Physical & Work Requirements</p> <ul> <li> <p>Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. as needed</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to stand and walk for 8+ hours per shift</p> </li><li> <p>Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively with support personnel</p> </li></ul> <p>PRIMARY LOCATION</p> <p>Battle Creek Seating Component</p>
