<p>MCG Business Account Specialist</p> <p>Mahaska Communication Group (MCG) is looking for a MCG Business Account Specialist at our Oskaloosa location. A Business Account Specialist is responsible for increasing MCG's market share by engaging with prospects to sell our telecommunications solutions. They will also maintain current market share by providing excellent customer service to our current customers. MCG offers internet and phone services to several communities in southern Iowa. If your experience aligns with the qualifications outlined below, we look forward to hearing from you!</p> <p>Essential Criteria:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma: Sales experience preferred but not required. </li><li>Valid drivers license driving to sales calls is required. </li><li>Self-motivated needs to work well unsupervised and possess strong organizational skills. Able to manage multiple projects effectively. </li><li>Communicate with customers/prospects in a timely manner. </li><li>Must be able to work well in a team environment. Able to facilitate, coordinate and communicate effectively to ensure high quality and timely execution of projects and customers requests. </li><li>Must be computer literate and able to effectively use MS Office or similar products as well as Email, web and Intranet based applications. </li><li>Personal vehicle may be required for job related duties. </li></ul> <p>Roles and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Identify leads to increase sales. Contact and meet with potential customers to assess telecommunication needs and propose solutions. </li><li>Present and sell network and telecommunication solutions to customers, generating new sales revenue and meeting or exceeding sales goals as established and or directed by Management. </li><li>Maintain strong relationship with customers through consultative selling, follow-up contact, proactive account and contact management. </li><li>Maintain strong relationship with customers through consultative selling, follow-up contact, proactive account and contact management. </li><li>Participate in community organizations to build relationships with other businesses in communities that MCG offers services. </li><li>Manage and facilitate the sales process. Survey, document and assess customers needs. Prepare and present individualized quotes using sales engineering, vendors and suppliers as resources if needed </li><li>Will be required to contact customers outside of Oskaloosa, which will include limited travel. </li><li>Participate in MCG-sponsored events that promote our company within the communities that MCG offers services. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Connecting you.
