Interested candidates should apply to be considered.</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <p>These are the job duties required of the position.</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li>Performs routine and specialized groundskeeping functions to include: mowing and edging lawns. </li><li>Removing grass clippings, leaves, pine needles, trash, and debris from lawns and landscape areas. </li><li>Pruning shrubbery and trees. </li><li>Planting and mulching shrubs, trees, and flowers </li><li>Installing stakes and guys on trees as required. </li><li>Applying irrigation water to lawns, trees, shrubs and flowers. </li><li>Operating a variety of tools and equipment to include pruners, line trimmers, blower, rake, shovel, push mower, edger, sod cutter, riding mowers, tractor mounted flail/bush hog, hydraulic tree spade, tractor mounted spreader/sprayers and high speed chipper grinder. </li><li>Applying chemicals and fertilizer, peat, and other materials weighing up to 60 lbs. </li><li>Sweeping streets, driveways and parking lots. </li><li>Operating a variety of university owned pick-up trucks, maintaining and calibrating equipment as required. </li><li>Installing and repairing irrigation systems. </li><li>Regular and prompt attendance. </li><li>Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required. </li><li>Related duties as required. </li></ul> <p>Posting Information</p> <p>Number of Vacancies 1 Position End Date (if temporary) Job Open Date 02/11/2025 Job Close Date Open Until Filled Yes Special Instructions to Applicants Working Days Monday - Friday Working Hours 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Job Location Main Campus Full-time or Part-Time Full Time Regular or Temporary Regular</p>
