Comfort in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously is crucial.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Develop technical drawings throughout all phases of a project. </li><li>Provide experiential and technical knowledge to solve design and construction issues. </li><li>Communicate priorities to both internal and external project teams. </li><li>Ensure quality work products are delivered. </li><li>Develop and enforce CAD/Revit standards. </li><li>Assist the Principal in preparing project schedules and implementing project work plans. </li><li>Interact with outside consultants and agencies. </li><li>Work collaboratively with a team on larger projects. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Architectural degree from an accredited university. </li><li>10 to 15 years of experience in the production and coordination of documents in all phases of architectural practice. </li><li>Construction experience is essential for more experienced architects. </li><li>Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit. </li><li>Ability to lead a team and manage communication effectively. </li><li>Experience in commercial, warehouse, healthcare, and industrial projects, including steel/cement frame ground-up, food production facilities, data centers, and cold storage. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Ability to work on multiple projects in multiple phases, typically 2/3 jobs every week. </li><li>Versatility in managing various tasks. </li><li>Effective verbal and written communication skills. </li><li>Advanced knowledge of CAD and Revit software. </li><li>Proficiency in developing and documenting standards for design and construction drawings. </li><li>Knowledge of best practices for professional quality drawings. </li><li>Understanding of technical terminology in the architectural and construction industry. </li><li>Thorough knowledge of applicable building codes for independent code analysis and compliance. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>The office environment is respectful and casual, encouraging collaboration. The role offers experience in all phases of architecture, AXP credits, a collaborative team, a 401k, benefits, 10 holidays, and closure during the last week of December covered by the firm, with flexibility for religious holidays.
