<p>Outpatient:</p> <p>Obtain referrals for neuropsychology testing.</p> <p>Schedule patients, verify insurance, obtain prior authorizations, and register patients in Avatar.</p> <p>Mail packets with necessary form to patients.</p> <p>Make telephone calls to confirm appointments.</p> <p>Enter professional charges into IDX.</p> <p>Inpatient:</p> <p>Check Cerner daily for orders.</p> <p>Obtain prior authorization as needed.</p> <p>Enter charges in Avatar and IDX</p> <p>General duties:</p> <p>Answer patient and physician telephone calls.</p> <p>File</p> <p>Make packets for patients</p> <p>Order supplies for the department</p> <p>Job Qualifications and Specifications</p> <p>Education: High school graduate or GED equivalent. Some college preferred.</p> <p>Training and Experience: Prior administrative experience. Exceptional organizational skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
