<p>Software Development Engineer - IBM AS400 Development Job ID: 25-07808</p> <p>Job Title: Software Engineer - IBM AS400 Development/Maintenance</p> <p>Location: Madison, WI - (100% Remote)</p> <p>Duration: 9 months</p> <p>Contract Type: W2 only</p> <p>Pay Rate: $55 - $60/Hour</p> <p>Job Description</p> <ul> <li>Maintain and Support IBM AS400 (I Series) Financial/Insurance System. </li><li>Maintain and Support various daily, monthly and yearly tasks involving troubleshooting financial transactions, updating tables to enable/disable financial/insurance products. Maintain & troubleshoot Datafeeds, Payments and Print jobs with external systems. </li><li>Utilize various technologies such as Subversion Tortoise/SVN, FTP, RoboFTP, WinSCP, command batch files, job scheduler, Redgate tools, Altova tools, and Microsoft Office for various development and operational tasks. </li><li>Handle financial transactions and reporting by creating EFT/ACH files and managing 1099 reporting. </li><li>Maintain data transfer processes using IBM MQ. </li><li>SDLC on Mainframe (Dev, QA, Production). </li></ul> <p>Additional Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>Maintain the Agents Area Website using C#, ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, and SQL Server. </li><li>Manage web server configurations and deployments using IIS </li><li>Utilize Visual Studio (2005 - 2017) and SQL Server Management Studio for development tasks. </li><li>Manage SQL Server databases, including creating stored procedures, updating tables, and developing DTSX packages. </li></ul> <p>Skills and Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Experience with IBM AS400 Development/Maintenance for Financial Systems (preferably Insurance products) </li><li>SQL, Query, implementer, COBOL, Control language, </li><li>Proficient in using Visual Studio and SQL Server Management Studio. </li><li>Understanding of web server management and configurations, particularly with IIS. </li><li>Familiarity with financial data processing and reporting. </li><li>Ability to work independently and in a team environment. </li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. </li><li>Job details </li><li></li></ul>
