Join our team and be part of the science that shapes a better future!</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>The Raw Materials Lab Team Lead supports daily operations in the Quality Control (QC) laboratory, focusing on the testing and handling of pharmaceutical raw materials. This role combines hands-on technical responsibilities with team coordination to ensure accurate testing, regulatory compliance, and efficient lab workflows.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>Technical Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Collect and receive raw material samples in accordance with SOPs and regulatory requirements. </li><li>Perform identification and other required tests on raw materials using validated methods. </li><li>Accurately document all sampling and testing activities in lab records and systems. </li><li>Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of raw material samples. </li><li>Calibrate or verify calibration of laboratory instruments prior to use. </li><li>Support method verification or validation activities as needed. </li><li>Maintain laboratory cleanliness, supplies, and readiness for audits or inspections. </li><li>Follow all applicable cGMP, FDA, and internal quality standards. </li><li>Report and help investigate any deviations or out-of-specification results. </li></ul> <p>Team Coordination & Support</p> <ul> <li>Train and mentor lab technicians on raw material testing procedures and GMP practices. </li><li>Coordinate daily task assignments and ensure timely completion of testing. </li><li>Assist with onboarding and training of new team members. </li><li>Track and document training activities to ensure compliance. </li><li>Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams (e.g., QA, Warehouse, Manufacturing). </li><li>Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific discipline; equivalent relevant experience may be considered. </li><li>2-3 years of experience in a GMP-regulated laboratory environment, with demonstrated ability to lead or coordinate team activities. </li><li>Hands-on experience with cleanroom procedures and aseptic techniques. </li><li>Strong attention to detail and excellent documentation practices. </li><li>Effective communicator with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting. </li><li>Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities. </li><li>Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship. </li></ul> <p>Additional Information</p> <p>What to Expect in the Hiring Process:</p> <ul> <li>10-15 minute phone interview with the Recruiter </li><li>60-minute virtual meeting with the Hiring Team </li><li>30-minute virtual meeting with the Site Director </li></ul> <p>The position is a full-time, 1st shift role.
