<p>General Labor 1st Shift 7:15am to 5pm</p> <p>Duties and responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Assemble unfolded boxes to drop down the box chutes to the Packout areas below. </li><li>Obtain empty pallets and boxes to be moved to line with hand jack </li><li>Identify and communicate problems with product packaging ensuring highest quality bags and cases </li><li>Verify product code and bag counts if applicable </li><li>Ensure proper documentation and pallet tags are completed </li><li>Maintain area cleanliness to ensure compliance with GMP and safety standards </li><li>Obtain work schedule and supplies from Supervisor required to perform daily tasks </li><li>Observe flow of materials and listen for machine malfunctions, such as jamming or spillage </li><li>Observe, feel, or otherwise examine products during and after processing to ensure conformance to standards. </li><li>Ensure product matches box label </li><li>Verify product count and box quantity </li><li>Inspect bags to make sure it's free from damages </li></ul> <p>Essential Job Functions and Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Working in a very cold and wet environment (33 - 35 degrees Fahrenheit) </li><li>Long periods of standing on hard wet surface area </li><li>Pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 30 lbs. </li><li>Bending, stooping, reaching overhead, stretching, climbing stairs </li><li>Repetitious movements of hand, arms, and legs </li><li>Must be able to use or learn to use equipment and tools provided to perform job duties. </li></ul> <p>Other Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to count </li><li>Must be detail oriented </li><li>Must be able to perform all job functions safely. </li><li>Must participate in company orientation and training. </li><li>Must be able to follow instructions. </li><li>Must be able to work scheduled/assigned times and required overtime if needed. </li></ul> <p>Other Information:</p> <p>The statements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees, and are not to be construed, as an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties and skills required of personnel so classified.
