<p>Position Title:</p> <p>Postdoc Research Associate - Center for Cyclone Civics</p> <p>Appointment Type:</p> <p>Post Doc/Trainee</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <p>Assist the leadership of the Center for Cyclone Civics in establishing a research agenda consistent with its mission to promote civic education, civic engagement, and free speech. Candidates should have an interest in developing a research agenda focused on civics</p> <p>Required Minimum Qualifications:</p> <p>Ph.D. or other terminal degree at the time of appointment in Political Science, Sociology, Education, History, Philosophy, Journalism and Mass Communication, or related field</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of key issues related to civic education, civic engagement, and free speech </li><li>Familiarity with both qualitative and quantitative research methods and assessment practices </li></ul> <p>Department/Program & College Description:</p> <p>The Center for Cyclone Civics is dedicated to advancing nonpartisan civic education and research on free speech, while addressing long-standing gaps in Americans' civic literacy and engagement.
