<p>Description</p> <p>The Segment Risk Specialist Sr works with the Business Risk Officer in the administration of the segment and corporate risk management programs and the business verticals to identify key risks and develop controls.</p> <p>Duties & Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for Policy/Controls and Process Documentation. </li><li>Perform the risk and control self-assessments. </li><li>Develop, maintain and continually enhance a proactive operational and regulatory risk management program and related initiatives. </li><li>Identify, assess, communicate and implement regulatory issuances. </li><li>Ensure the timely completion of all testing requirements in accordance with guidelines. </li><li>Lead the business segment in the timely remediation of issues. </li><li>Help foster a risk awareness culture in the business segment. </li><li>Provide the business segment with sufficient information to ensure proper oversight. </li><li>Help to communicate shared vision of the segment/division and establishes goals to assure the vision is realized. </li><li>May lead less experienced Risk Specialists. </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Basic Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree </li><li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in Audit, Commercial Business, Risk Management or Operational Risk. </li><li>In lieu of a Bachelor's degree 4 additional years of segment-specific or risk related experience may be considered </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of operational risk in commercial business. </li><li>Strong organizational, analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills. </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communications and the ability to communicate and present requirements and issues clearly and concisely. </li><li>Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build strong partnerships and work collaboratively with all businesses. </li><li>Ability to deal with ambiguity, multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Proficiency in MS Office suite. </li></ul> <p>Exempt Status: (Yes = not eligible for overtime pay) (No = eligible for overtime pay)</p> <p>Yes</p> <p>Workplace Type:</p> <p>Office</p> <p>Our Approach to Office Workplace Type</p> <p>Certain positions outside our branch network may be eligible for a flexible work arrangement.
