Overview Maimonides Children's Hospital is Brooklyn's largest Pediatric facility with over 2,200 pediatric admissions including 750 PICU admissions. Our Department includes over 800 NICU admissions, 6,500 deliveries and 70,000 pediatric outpatient visits. Maimonides Children's Hospital is a Pediatric Trauma Center, Regional Perinatal Center and a member of the Children's Oncology Group. Our faculty include a broad range of pediatric medical and surgical specialists who care for a very diverse patient population from the regional area. Maimonides trains over 54 residents in Pediatrics per year and serves as a training site for rotating residents and medical students. We are a compassionate, patient-centered organization focused on employee participation and development. https://maimo.org/treatments-care/childrens-hospital Responsibilities Maimonides is currently seeking a Program Coordinator for our Pediatrics Medical Education Program. Will provide day-to-day coordination of educational and departmental activities to include administrative support to the Director of the residency training program and Chief Residents; and educational coordination between attending physicians, residents, fellows, medical students and institutional and regulatory administrative offices. You must demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness, and problem-solving skills in applying a detailed knowledge of the responsibilities, functions and underlying management structure of the department and of the larger institution in organizing and independently prioritizing work, establishing procedures and systems, and ensuring orderly and timely work flow. You will also coordinate and administer human resource functions and participate in financial processes. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required, Masters degree preferred- preferably in health care administration or related field. Experience in graduate medical education program administration. Notary Public licensure to facilitate timely completion of trainee verification processes Computer and database management experience Research and data analysis skills with working knowledge of REDCap Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong teamwork skills Ability to work collaboratively/effectively with other departments and agencies Ability to work with individuals from different countries and cultures Multitasking skills in coordinating simultaneous ongoing program demands Organizational abilities, attention to detail, dependability and trustworthiness Pay Range USD $64,350.00 - USD $67,000.00 /Yr.
