<p>More information about this job</p> <p>Overview</p> <p>The Recruiting Assistant/Processor supports the recruiting department by managing application tracking, onboarding processes, and administration functions. The role ensures a seamless experience for new hires and maintains compliance with Cajun's policies and procedures.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>The following are intended as general illustrations of the work in this job class and are not all-inclusive for this position. </li><li>Greet and welcome guests and applicants upon arrival </li><li>Answer, screen, and forward incoming calls </li><li>Guide applicants to apply online and assist them at the receptionist kiosks </li><li>Provide accurate information in person, via phone, and email. </li><li>Manage applicant tracking and onboarding </li><li>Review and approve new hire and rehire submissions </li><li>Maintain employee records such as the employee's hiring and termination information </li><li>Ensure timely completion and compliance of all onboarding documents </li><li>Scan and upload all onboarding paperwork and documentation into Cajun's HRIS system </li><li>Follow up with candidates to complete required documentation </li><li>Notify the recruiting team of any onboarding issues or delays </li><li>Serve as a liaison between candidates, recruiting, payroll, and HR for onboarding and termination documentation </li><li>Coordinate new hire orientations with candidates, the recruiting team, and trainers </li><li>Assist with internal audits and monthly compliance tracking </li><li>Provide support to the recruiting team as needed </li><li>Schedule Safety Council courses for current and new employees </li><li>Send out jobsite arrival emails </li><li>Send out jobsite arrival text to all employees </li><li>Coordinate drug screens and physicals for current and new employees </li><li>Upload required documents to P-Vault </li><li>Perform Assistant Recruiter duties as needed </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED required </li><li>Strong organizations and communication skills </li><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines </li><li>Experience with HRIS systems is a plus </li><li>Experience in HR administration or recruiting support preferred </li><li>Professional demeanor and customer service orientation </li></ul> <p>Physical</p> <ul> <li>Occasionally required to lift up to 25 pounds </li><li>Regularly required to talk or hear </li><li>Frequently required to walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms </li><li>Subject to repetitive use of hands/arms </li><li>Occasionally required to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, use hands and fingers to handle and feel </li><li>Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus </li><li>Will need to be able to perform sedentary work </li></ul> <p>Mental</p> <ul> <li>Must have the ability to direct others and communicate effectively with other management/ supervision </li><li>Talking and reading & writing comprehension is necessary for giving and receiving directions to perform work and/or safety policy </li><li>Ability to use math/complete calculations </li><li>Must be able to concentrate amid distractions and remember details </li><li>Ability to use computer, keyboard, telephone and other office devices </li><li>Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus </li></ul>
