The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of computer systems analysis and programming techniques, along with proficiency in Workday Report Writer, Workday Calculated Fields, Workday Prism, and Dashboards. Additionally, familiarity with third-party reporting and analytics tools, SQL, and project management methods is beneficial. This role will be responsible for coordinating solutions, preparing documentation, and providing support for reporting applications. This role involves interaction with business stakeholders to implement new enhancements, troubleshoot customer support tickets, and ensure adherence to project management standards. The candidate will also maintain service excellence principles, and keep management informed of activities and needs.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities include:</p> <p>System Implementation</p> <ul> <li>Regularly meets with supervisor and Team to discuss develop/modify report specifications. </li><li>Coordinates solutions; prepares the appropriate documentation; and provides support for reporting applications. </li><li>Outlines report specifications for UHS business needs and coordinates validation of data sources. </li><li>Understands education material and provides assistance with training to UHS staff for reporting applications. </li><li>Coordinates development of test data, system testing and documentation for all phases of the application development life cycle. </li><li>Troubleshoots; opens; and monitors resolution of implementation-related Customer Support Center Tickets. </li><li>Adheres to appropriate UHS Project Management standards. </li><li>Ensures strict adherence to work plans, reporting all serious deviations to Supervisor. </li><li>While the company and this role are pursuing a Workday-first reporting approach, there may be times where other tools might be required or better suited. An aspect of this role is performing requirements analysis to choose the best report method. </li></ul> <p>System Maintenance/Support</p> <ul> <li>Researches Customer Support Center Tickets (reporting to supervisor) major application upgrade issues. </li><li>Adheres to UHS Service Level and Change Management Policies. </li><li>Provides on-call support as needed. </li><li>Establishes and maintains regular communications with user community. </li></ul> <p>Administration and Oversight</p> <ul> <li>Maintains Service Excellence principles. </li><li>Keeps management well informed of activities, needs, problems. </li><li>Performs other tasks as required by management. </li></ul> <p>Growth and Development</p> <ul> <li>Engage in continued learning of Workday functionalities. </li><li>Participate in training sessions and workshops </li><li>Learn advanced reporting techniques and stay updated with the latest industry trends - assessing non-Workday platforms </li><li>Focus on professional development to grow within the organization. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Position Requirements:</p> <p>Knowledge:</p> <ul> <li>2 years of college coursework towards a Bacheor's degree or Associates degreee required.
