<p>About the Opportunity</p> <ul> <li>Required: High school diploma plus two years technical college </li><li>Preferred: Trade school certification for a toolmaker or machinist program </li><li>Combination of experience and education will be considered. Minimum of 5 years hands on experience in a Model shop/Experimental machining environment. </li><li>Must be flexible to changing requirements of the job and be able to interact with University faculty, staff, students and coworkers </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Possess superior machining skills to be able to fabricate fixtures and components to close tolerances from drawings, sketches or verbal instruction </li><li>Minimum five years experience with Bridgeport Milling machines, Harding Tool Room lathe, Horizontal / Vertical band saw, Surface grinding and associated feeds and speeds </li><li>Minimum five years experience with CNC milling and lathe, setup and operation and the related software.
