Applicable only for MA & MOS positions in the Centers of Excellence and Maryland Family Care practices, of which this role applies to.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Greet patients in a courteous and friendly manner, providing a welcoming atmosphere. </li><li>Schedule and confirm patient appointments and procedures </li><li>Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays or fees as needed. </li><li>Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information to patients and other callers. </li><li>Complete patient check-in and check-out processes. </li><li>Take patient vital signs, record medical histories, and update electronic health records (EHR). </li><li>Administer injections and immunizations as directed by healthcare providers.
