<p>Position Title:</p> <p>Quarterly Lecturer - Finance (POOL) 2025-26AY</p> <p>Position Type:</p> <p>Temporary</p> <p>Salary Range:</p> <p>Starting at $9,933 per 3-unit course.</p> <p>Purpose:</p> <p>The Department of Finance at Santa Clara University seeks candidates for multiple positions as a Quarterly Lecturer to teach various courses in Finance at the undergraduate and graduate level in the 2025-26 academic year.</p> <p>Basic Qualifications:</p> <p>Applicants must have an undergraduate degree in a related field. Masters degree is desirable. College-level teaching experience is desirable.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <p>Teach undergraduate finance courses.</p> <p>1) Conduct weekly class meetings on dates and times agreed to by the instructor and department.</p> <p>2) Assign and evaluate student assignments, projects and exams that align with course learning objectives.</p> <p>3) Assign and submit grades to the Office of the Registrar by the set deadline.</p> <p>4) Participate in service activities as outlined by the department of the Leavey School of Business.</p> <p>Please note that your employment is subject to the terms of a collective bargaining agreement between the University and the Service Employees International Union Local 1021 ("Local 1021"; see https://www.scu.edu/provost/faculty-affairs/cba-ntt/).</p> <p>Special Instructions to Applicants:</p> <p>Interested applicants should submit a cover letter indicating interest and qualifications, CV, teaching evaluations (if available) and contact information for at least three references.</p> <p>Prior to start, applicant will have to provide proof of education or certification.</p> <p>Additional questions can be directed to: finance@scu.edu</p> <p>Telecommute</p> <p>Santa Clara University is registered to do business in the following states: California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, and Illinois.
