<p>Subsidiary</p> <p>New Millennium</p> <p>Overview</p> <p>Produce accurate fabrication bills of material and erection plans for use in fabricating and erecting New Millennium products on large, heavy structural, deck only projects.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Prepare deck layout plans and sections using AutoCAD </li><li>Prepare RFI's and coordinate project details with customers, steel detailers, engineers and others </li><li>Detail projects with multiple submittals and sequences with extended project building time-frames. </li><li>Handle multiple projects simultaneously in fast-paced, production driven environment </li><li>Meet schedules for assigned projects </li><li>Other duties as necessary </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Required</p> <ul> <li>Good verbal and written communication skills </li><li>Fluent with AutoCAD </li><li>Ability to visualize how elements fit together in 3D when working with 2D drawings </li><li>Willingness to go beyond typical duties to assist co-workers and customers </li><li>CAD related degrees and/or experience </li></ul> <p>Preferred</p> <ul> <li>Prior structural, joist, and/or deck detailing experience. </li></ul> <p>Steel Dynamics, Inc., and all affiliated entities are equal opportunity employers.</p>
