Our aim isn't just about improving buildings; it's about creating perfect places that improve people's lives.</p> <p>Transform the everyday with us!</p> <p>As a Fire Sprinkler Estimating Coordinator, you will:</p> <ul> <li>Prepare cost estimates and proposals, based on information provided by field technical personnel, for the correction of impairments and deficiencies identified during ITM services on Fire Protection Equipment. (Fire Sprinkler Systems, Fire Pumps, Backflow Preventers, etc.) </li><li>Understand the end product/result and work to determine the correct solution that best meets the customer's needs, while maintaining code compliance and equipment operability. </li><li>Prepare proposals with supporting cost estimates. </li><li>Send proposals to the customer, client services manager and appropriate field personnel based on local workflow and/or code requirements. </li><li>Track and follow up on customer correspondence to secure approval for needed repair work. </li><li>Coordinate with Supervisor and other team members to identify source and cost of repair parts and/or services when necessary. </li><li>Prepare turnover documentation for transmittal to local service coordinators in the appropriate branch office to ensure proper completion of work. </li><li>Track and maintain assigned proposals and purchase orders. </li><li>Report unresponsive customers or delayed approvals to Field Quote Center </li><li>Supervisor for escalation to local service team as needed. </li><li>Provide feedback on methods and means that would help streamline the process </li><li>and improve throughputs for all parties. </li><li>Deliver outstanding customer service and support. </li></ul> <p>You'll make an impact with these qualifications:</p> <p>Basic Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or state-recognized GED </li><li>Demonstrated knowledge/aptitude of Fire Sprinkler Systems, Fire Pumps, Backflow Preventers, and other Fire Systems based on applicable technical work experience or combination of applicable technical and in-office work experience (inspector, technician, construction, sales, administration & project management etc.) </li><li>NICET II Certification or equivalent in Fire Sprinkler Systems, Fire Alarm Systems and/or Special Hazards Systems </li><li>Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and PC skills </li><li>Qualified candidates are required to work in a home-based, virtual environment </li><li>Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively/professionally (verbal and written) and provide quality customer service to remote customers, field technicians and operation teams </li><li>Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize workload </li><li>Must be 18 years of age </li><li>Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship </li><li>May be required to travel 10% for training. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Associate's degree or bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering </li><li>Fire Protection System Certifications from Manufacturers or Major Universities </li><li>State or local Fire Sprinkler Technician/Inspector/Designer/Backflow Licenses </li><li>Field Technical Experience in the Fire Alarm, Fire Sprinkler and/or Life Safety Industries </li><li>Experience in a call center environment </li><li>Demonstrated understanding of business processes, standard practices, tools, and financial systems in support commercial building fire and security systems </li><li>Estimating and/or sales experience in the Fire Alarm, Fire Sprinkler, Life Safety or related Industries </li></ul> <p>Ready to create your own journey??Join us?today!</p> <p>About Siemens</p> <p>We are a global technology company focused on industry, infrastructure, transport, and healthcare.
