<p>Tesla is seeking an engineer to develop and implement quality management systems. This position will involve business process design, implementation, and project management to achieve quantifiable improvements to the Tesla quality systems.</p> <ul> <li>Proactively identify improvement opportunities (potential gaps between process and system) across all business functions, developing tools that allow for visibility into process bottlenecks and inconsistencies </li><li>Prioritize multiple projects across all departments and systems and provide status updates to stakeholders </li><li>Collaborate with other sites and teams to drive towards common solutions </li><li>Manage user manual and information on how to use the system </li><li>Perform training to various functions on new roll outs and functionality changes </li><li>Business point of contact for users for day-to-day queries and adoption </li><li>Lead internal auditing to monitor progress towards goals </li><li>Communicate ISO 9001 requirements to business stakeholders while ensuring flexibility </li><li>Degree in Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience </li><li>Minimum of 3+ year of experience in a quality or quality system role </li><li>Knowledge of quality system industry standards including ISO 9001, IATF 16949 or AIAG </li><li>Project management experience </li><li>The ability to work independently as well as collaborate well across diverse functional groups </li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills to manage and communicate the health and integrity of the data and systems </li><li>Demonstrated track record of taking initiative and delivering results </li><li>Adaptability and a willingness to learn and grow </li><li>Comfortable with making decisions with incomplete information </li><li>Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, Statistical Process Control) or certification in Quality Management (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Engineer) is a plus </li></ul>
