Your voice matters here, because we know that to inspire and retain the best people, we must empower them.</p> <p>The Biomedical Technician is responsible for installation, electrical safety inspections, periodic maintenance, performance testing and major and minor repairs of medical equipment in assigned areas of the hospital, as well as external/retail clients. The Biomedical Technician operates sophisticated test equipment and instrumentation for inspections, performance tests, and periodic maintenance/repairs of medical equipment. The testing data acquired from said testing is analyzed and may be prepared for reports. The Biomedical Technician has a thorough understanding of biomedical equipment commonly used in general care areas.</p> <p>Please note the following important details regarding this position:</p> <ul> <li>Providence welcomes applications from residents who live within a daily commutable distance to the hospital in Mission Viejo, California. </li><li>Flexibility to work an 8-hour shift within the site operation hours of 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM. </li><li>Flexibility to work a weekly on-call schedule, including weekends.
