<p>Toledo Clinic's Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine Department located in Sylvania OH is seeking a Registered (RPSGT) Sleep Technician to work part-time nights (8:00pm - 6:00am).</p> <p>General Summary:</p> <p>Manually analyzes testing as directed.</p> <p>Works under the supervision of the attending physician and Office Manager.</p> <p>Principal Duties & Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Provide patient education regarding the sleep test. </li><li>Select appropriate equipment and calibrate for testing. </li><li>Apply electrodes and sensors according to standards. </li><li>Perform routine PAP fitting and desensitization. </li><li>Analyzes sleep testing data accurately and in a timely fashion as directed by the Office Physician. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>Previous experience in a sleep lab. </li><li>Adheres to CLIA and OSHA regulations. </li><li>Consistently arrives at work, in professional attire, on time and completes all tasks within established time frame. </li><li>Seeks appropriate tasks when primary tasks are completed and assists co-workers as needed. </li><li>Demonstrates adaptability to expanded roles. </li><li>Certification by a nationally recognized certification board and holds either the Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or Registered Sleep Technologist (RST) within 6 month of starting the job. </li><li>RPSGT is required </li><li>Adheres to all clinic policies and procedures </li><li>Experience scoring sleep studies. </li></ul>
