<p>DEPARTMENT: Anodizing</p> <p>JOB TITLE: 2nd Shift Racker</p> <p>REPORTS TO: Shift Supervisor with directions from a Team Leader</p> <p>SHIFT MID-DAY/HOURS: 3 p.m. to 11p.m</p> <p>STARTING PAY: Starting pay is $17.00 per hour, with potential to earn more.</p> <p>40+ hours per week over the course of 5 days, with occasional mandatory Saturday for OT.</p> <p>This entry-level position works in the Anodizing Department and is responsible for affixing aluminum pieces of varied sizes onto titanium metal anodizing racks.</p> <p>What You Will Be Responsible For:</p> <ul> <li>Examines articles for defects and sorts of articles according to extent of defect. </li><li>Rackers work side by side on a line, with no more than an arm's length between them. </li><li>Frequently lift and carry boxes of parts weighing no more than thirty pounds. </li><li>Differentiate between varied sizes, shapes, and styles of pieces. </li><li>Comply with safety policies and procedures. </li><li>Wear the required personal protective equipment. </li><li>Accepts feedback from the Team Leader to ensure the loads are up to safety standards. </li><li>Complete special projects and other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:</p> <ul> <li>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. </li><li>The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. </li><li>The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to twenty-five pounds (25lbs), frequently lift and/or move up to thirty pounds (30lbs) occasionally. </li><li>Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. </li><li>While performing the duties of this job, the employee continually works near moving mechanical parts. </li><li>The noise level in the work environment is usually loud and always without air conditioning. </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:</p> <ul> <li>HS Diploma/GED preferred, not required. </li><li>Prior anodizing and/or metal experience a plus. </li></ul> <p>COMPENSATION:</p> <ul> <li>Paid Vacation </li><li>Medical </li><li>Dental </li><li>Life </li><li>Matched 401K </li></ul>
