<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Berklee College of Music, Valencia Campus is seeking a Part Time Acoustics Professor for the undergraduate study abroad program. This part-time position reports to the Director of Study Abroad and Special Programs. The ideal candidate will be an experienced and effective acoustics instructor with a professional profile who can teach undergraduate music students.</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li> <p>Deep knowledge of acoustics required, experience with music acoustics preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Advanced degree in Acoustics or Acoustical Engineering is strongly preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to speak and teach in English</p> </li><li> <p>Experience teaching at the university level</p> </li><li> <p>Strong teaching ability, communication and interpersonal skills</p> </li><li> <p>Commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion</p> </li></ul> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li> <p>Teach a course in General Acoustics</p> </li><li> <p>Engage with students outside of the classroom and assist with special activities if needed</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in undergraduate faculty meetings and other professional development activities</p> </li><li> <p>Other duties as assigned</p> </li></ul> <p>START DATE AND DURATION</p> <p>The start date for the position is end of August 2025 and will continue, if needed, through May 2025</p> <p>SUBMISSION PROCESS</p> <ol> <li> <p>Electronic applications.
