<p>Job Responsibilities</p> <p>Job Purpose</p> <p>The Child Early Reading Development and Education Program (CERDEP) Program Coordinator II supports high-quality early learning opportunities for young children by coordinating data collection, research activities, program monitoring, and communication across districts, schools, and internal agency teams. This role strengthens the implementation of the CERDEP through accurate reporting, collaborative problem-solving, and cross-office coordination.</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>The CERDEP Program Coordinator II plays a vital role in ensuring effective early learning programming across the state. Core responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Implement outreach and support efforts as directed by the director and team lead and work to plan a public awareness of and support for high quality early learning opportunities for early childhood while collecting data. </li><li>Support an effective monitoring process with timely and accurate data collections, aggregation, analysis, and reporting of data to ensure high quality data and reporting. </li><li>Work on research projects that include integration of qualitative and quantitative research methods that work collaboratively with the Early Learning specialists and/or OIS to plan, problem-solve, and/or evaluate, providing leadership to districts and schools for CERDEP and 4K programs. </li><li>Create surveys, graphs, reports, excel files and other documents to support CERDEP </li><li>Work on teams within the department to carry out a variety of research activities including taking responsibility for fieldwork at specific sites, developing and administering surveys, conducting web searches, organizing data into spreadsheets, and analyzing data. </li><li>Maintain knowledge of legislation, regulation, and policies, in addition to current online learning trends and opportunities. </li><li>Collaborate and communicate effectively orally and in writing in a timely manner with internal and external audiences. </li></ul> <p>This position is located in the Office of Instructional Supports.</p> <p>Minimum and Additional Requirements</p> <p>A bachelor's degree and relevant program experience.</p> <p>Additional Comments</p> <p>ONLY THOSE APPLICANTS CHOSEN FOR AN INTERVIEW WILL BE NOTIFIED BY LETTER THAT THE POSITION HAS BEEN FILLED.</p> <p>http://www.ed.sc.gov/jobs/human-resources/title-ix-nondiscrimination/</p>
