This position is located in the Fuels Management Flight, within the Logistics Readiness Squadron, Mission Support Group, at an ANG Aviation Wing.</p> <p>The primary purpose of this position is to manage fuel on behalf of the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) which consists of operations and maintenance of a fuel distribution system that includes a Type III Hydrant fuel system (at Air Refueling Wings) equivalent to a small fuel farm, fuels laboratory, cryogenic storage, bulk storage, base service station, fuels information service center, mobile fueling operations and the financial account management for missile propellants, aviation fuels, ground fuels and cryogenics utilized in support of aircraft, motor vehicles, engine test cells, powered Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE), generators and heating systems required to support the Wing mission and transient aircraft.</p> <p>Requirements</p> <p>Help</p> <p>Conditions of employment</p> <ul> <li>NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED. This is a Title 32 Technician Vacancy that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard, required prior to the closing date of the job vacancy. </li><li>Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform. </li><li>Acceptance of an excepted service position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment. </li><li>Males born after 31 December 1959 must be registered for Selective Service. </li><li>Federal employment suitability as determined by a background investigation.
