Moran, Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources</p> <p>Subject: Anticipated Opening - Work-Based Learning Coordinator (Grant-Funded)</p> <p>Brockton Public Schools is seeking a Work-Based Learning Coordinator for Edison Academy for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year to support scholars participating in work-based learning experiences. This position is grant-funded through the Massachusetts Afterschool Partnership (MAP) Grant and provides an opportunity to assist scholars in developing valuable workforce skills while ensuring successful program implementation.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Experience with work-based learning protocols </li><li>Knowledge of the Massachusetts Work-Based Learning Plan </li><li>Experience providing professional development on work-based learning </li><li>Multilingual candidates preferred (Spanish, Haitian Creole, Cape Verdean Creole, and Portuguese) </li></ul> <p>Essential Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Identify and assess scholars eligible for the work-based learning program </li><li>Evaluate, select, and establish work sites that align with scholar goals </li><li>Meet with scholars and work supervisors to set learning objectives that enhance productivity and job skills </li><li>Develop, monitor, and adjust training plans in collaboration with work site supervisors and scholars </li><li>Provide work site supervisors with guidance on effective scholar mentorship </li><li>Inform work supervisors and scholars of their roles and responsibilities </li><li>Conduct two evaluations of scholars' performance and progress during the program </li><li>Provide a written report summarizing scholar performance and learning outcomes </li></ul> <p>Reports To:Edison Academy Leadership Team</p> <p>Work Year & Compensation:Rate: $39.70/hour, capped at $3,000 total</p> <p>Funding: Massachusetts Afterschool Partnership (MAP) Grant</p>
