We strive to welcome and care for all of our customers during their travels with us and aim to deliver an elevated experience.</p> <p>The Unit Load Device (ULD) Lead Technician is responsible for on-site supervision and repair of over 22,000 ULDs and 60,000 galley equipment items within Delta's span of control and system. The lead provides maintenance support and regulatory compliance and partners with equipment vendors for modifications and improvements, ensuring a safe and efficient operation.</p> <p>The Lead will be safety focused and execute these critical duties and skills:</p> <ul> <li>Ensure FAA compliance and adhere to Component Maintenance manuals relative to ULD/Galley Equipment repair. </li><li>Ensure the proper use of technical data during the repair process. </li><li>Conduct quality control throughout repair processes and perform internal audits while responding to and implementing corrective actions from external audits. </li><li>Supervise scrap and disposition of equipment and components that are considered Beyond Economic Repair (BER). </li><li>Engage in maintenance tasks and inspecting repairs to ensure equipment is returned to service, in addition to overseeing and coordinating the repair workforce. </li><li>Monitor tool calibration schedules and follow established shelf-life management procedures to ensure accuracy and quality standards. </li><li>Coordinate, schedule and repair of Galley Equipment and Unit Load Devices </li><li>Complete Delta's TechOps welding certification and engage in the repair of pallets and containers. </li><li>Oversee the repair workforce at assigned station and provide temporary support at other repair facilities as needed, which may require travel. </li><li>Lead and pursue accomplishment of department and station performance goals. </li></ul> <p>This position is full-time with a starting pay of $61.02 per hour.</p> <p>Internal Movement Eligibility</p> <p>Internal Employees: Before applying for this position, please reference the company's Internal Mobility Policy and Residency Policy to ensure you meet all eligibility requirements.
