As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you'll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You'll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.</p> <p>As a Technical Program Manager for Cloud Computing Resource Management, you will be responsible for coordinating across all of Google's Engineering teams to solve challenging and novel problems in cloud computing. You will work directly with Google's supply chain, data center infrastructure, networking, and software engineering teams to design and deliver the future state of computing resource management within Google. Your responsibilities will include the automation of compute resource allocation to all software engineering initiatives at Google, the balancing of resource distribution against supply chain, data center infrastructure, network, shared service, and budgetary constraints, and the implementation of tools and policies to optimize resource management across the entire engineering stack at Google. You will seek to redefine the definition of an "on-demand" computing environment at scales the world has not yet seen. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Learn more about benefits at Google.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Support operations and analytic projects related to the allocation and budgeting of internal computing resources and driving efficiency programs. </li><li>Support subsequent operations and analytic projects related to billing, service fulfillment, internal chargeback and price modeling, supply chain management, and capacity planning needs for compute and storage resources. </li><li>Support the advancement of strategy, policy, and supporting tools for operations, provide developing scripting/tool development as well as requirements documentation as necessary. </li><li>Work with partner teams to launch and deliver projects related to data architecture and process re-design around demand and supply-side compute resource management. </li></ul>
