With on site training and succession plans, Taylor sets up employees for success.</p> <p>Competitive salary with bonus opportunity, plus full benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance; Short Term and Long Term Disability, tuition reimbursement, parental leave, 401k match, and other optional benefit coverages.</p> <p>BASIC FUNCTION:</p> <p>Sets-up and operates CNC press brake to bend and form various sizes, shapes, and types of sheet metal parts as specified by part blueprints to meet quality and production standards.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES:</p> <ul> <li>Reads blueprints and production orders. </li><li>Accurately uses a square, rule and protractor. </li><li>Retrieves own parts and dies. </li><li>Enters data into the machine's controller to create a program to run a part including entering gage data (x, r and z coordinates, bend allowances, gage types); entering ram data (tonnage control, positioning, speeds); and entering any detailed information necessary for another operator to run the job in the future (die choices, die positions, information vital to running the job successfully). </li><li>Completes own setups. </li><li>Verifies print to latest engineering revision and then verifies part is made to print specifications. </li><li>Inspects part for any nonconformities including those of a cosmetic nature (i.e. scratches, dents, deformities). </li><li>Arranges completed parts in an orderly fashion and moves finished parts to holding area. </li><li>Keeps appropriate production records. </li><li>Services press brake as required and performs preventive maintenance on equipment. </li><li>Maintains cleanliness of work area and follows safe work practice rules. </li><li>Performs other miscellaneous duties as required </li><li></li></ul> <p>Shift: 5am-3:30pm, Monday-Thursday. Overtime availability on Friday is required.</p> <p>POSITION REQUIREMENTS:</p> <p>Education: Three months commercial, vocational, or other specialized training beyond high school.</p> <p>Experience: Three to four years related work experience.</p> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS:</p> <p>Manual Dexterity: Work requires moderate speed and accuracy.</p> <p>Physical Effort: Work requires mostly moderate but some heavy muscular effort or difficult work positions.</p> <p>Working Conditions: More frequent exposure to disagreeable features.</p> <p>Hazards: Injury may require a doctor's care. Time lost for part of a day may be to receive medical treatment.</p>
