<p>POSITION SUMMARY:</p> <p>The engineering technician will work under the direction of management and/or engineering staff as determined by senior management. This role will work on a variety of engineering tasks, such as prototype testing, equipment trouble shooting, data collection, data processing, tooling fixtures, etc., depending on skills and experience.</p> <p>ESSENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Recognize any unsafe conditions and take action to correct while reporting to supervisor, lead, or other management representative immediately </li><li>Use precision measuring instruments </li><li>Design and build manufacturing equipment </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>IDEAL EXPERIENCE:</p> <p>The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment and able to demonstrate solid experience with the following:</p> <ul> <li>Mechanical Engineering </li><li>Design/Build Equipment </li></ul> <p>COMPETENCIES:</p> <ul> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication </li><li>Ability to work with cross functional teams </li><li>Diagnostic Information gathering </li><li>Statistical analysis </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma and 2 or more years' experience as a technician in MIM industry or equivalent experience as determined by management </li><li>An associate's degree or similar certificate in a complimentary trade preferred </li><li>Knowledge of various machinery, tools, materials and equipment necessary to perform job duties </li><li>Possess excellent computer/PC skills (including word & excel knowledge) </li><li>Acute attention to detail </li><li>Commitment to excellence and high standards </li><li>Work effectively as a team member and independently </li><li>Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm </li><li>Detail oriented in regard to workmanship & maintaining the efficiency </li></ul>
