<p>JOB OPPORTUNITY: Physician (Neurohospitalist)</p> <p>Hartford HealthCare Medical Group, Inc. seeks two full-time Neurohospitalist Physicians to: Work in the inpatient hospital setting performing assessments and management of patients with neurologic conditions; ordering and assessing diagnostic studies of patient symptoms; providing clinical management, including patient and family education and appropriate medical referrals; working as part of multidisciplinary team and with other departments and divisions within and without Hartford HealthCare; participating in clinical research and quality improvement programs at the hospital and health-system level; participating in educational programs for medical students, graduate medical students, advanced practitioners and nurses; attending Grand Rounds; documenting encounters and billing of direct patient contact with neurologic patients; providing services in accordance with assignment, coverage and on-call schedules; and performing general Neurology and Tele-Neurology consult services, inpatient second attending, and weekend call services on rotating schedule.
