<p>Title: Temporary - Instructional Assistant, Surgical Technology (Pool)</p> <p>POSITION SUMMARY</p> <p>This position provides instructional assistance and support in the surgical technology program.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>Supervises and evaluates clinical students. Assists instructor with laboratory training. Assists with coordinating and supervising laboratory exercises. Evaluates laboratory students. Maintains inventory of laboratory equipment</p> <p>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>Associate's degree</p> <p>Current NCCA-accredited certification in surgical technology</p> <p>Prior experience as a surgical technologist or surgical technologist educator</p> <p>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>AAS in Surgical Technology from a nationally accredited program</p> <p>Two (2) years of experience as a surgical technologist or surgical technologist educator</p> <p>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES</p> <p>Knowledge of and/or experience with a variety of instructional delivery modes, including synchronous and asynchronous online teaching. Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with a diverse student, faculty and staff population. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.</p> <p>Rate of Pay: $29.50 per hour</p> <p>Work Hours: Up to 28 hours per week</p> <p>Special Instructions to Applicants: Unofficial transcripts are acceptable for the application process.
