If you're organized, adaptable, and enjoy being a go-to teammate, we'd love to hear from you!</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li>Process Loan Applications: Enter and manage loan data accurately, supporting lenders throughout the underwriting cycle. </li><li>Coordinate Loan Closings: Assist in preparing and reviewing loan documents, settlement statements, and disbursement details. </li><li>Support Documentation: Produce, review, and track legal documents including mortgages, Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) filings, and title work. </li><li>Manage Post-Closing Tasks: Ensure proper collateral perfection, resolve post-closing audit items, and file documents as needed. </li><li>Communicate with Clients: Answer calls, relay loan decisions, and assist borrowers with questions or next steps. </li><li>Execute Transactions: Complete wire transfers, advances, and payoffs in accordance with loan terms. </li><li>Collaborate with Lenders: Order appraisals, flood determinations, and other required items to support loan origination. </li><li>Provide Administrative Support: Perform secretarial duties and maintain organized digital and physical files. </li></ul> <p>What We're Looking For</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent </li><li>Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial lending documentation, including mortgages and UCC filings </li><li>Strong mathematical skills </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and loan processing systems </li><li>Detail orientation and ability to manage multiple priorities </li><li>Strong communication and organizational skills </li><li>Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills. </li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team </li><li>Willingness to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Ability to remain in a stationary position for up to 75% of an eight (8) hour workday. </li><li>Ability to review information and details at close range (within a few feet). </li></ul> <p>What We Offer</p> <ul> <li>Competitive Pay & Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, and employer-paid life and disability insurance. </li><li>Financial Perks: 401(k) match, Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP), and banking benefits. </li><li>Work-Life Balance: Paid time off, including 11 Federal Reserve bank holidays. </li><li>Growth Opportunities: Tuition assistance and professional development programs. </li><li>A Supportive Culture: Integrity, collaboration, innovation, and respect are at the heart of what we do. </li></ul> <p>Who We Are</p> <p>First Financial Bank is a dynamic financial institution with over $5.5 billion in assets and a proud history dating back to 1834.
