<p>What to Expect</p> <p>Tesla is seeking a skilled and experienced Virtual Auto Damage Appraiser to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for completing auto physical damage estimates with quality, efficiency, and following Tesla repair procedures. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 years' experience in writing auto damage estimates, being proficient in estimating software and expertise in the insurance industry.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li>Conduct virtual estimates and supplements based on photos provided by the customer or body shop in an efficient manner </li><li>Accurately assess vehicle damages and complete a thorough estimate using proper repair procedures </li><li>Adheres to company claims procedures and guidelines </li><li>Negotiates with auto repair facilities and reaches agreement for cost of repair </li><li>Evaluate the Actual Cash Value of a vehicle determined to be a total loss following company guidelines </li><li>Settle vehicles determined to be a total loss </li><li>Identify and report underwriting concerns or evidence of external fraud to appropriate channels </li></ul> <p>What You'll Bring</p> <ul> <li>1+ years' experience as an auto damage appraiser with an insurance company or as a body shop writer </li><li>Experience with major estimating software </li><li>Effective organizational skills </li><li>Effective communication skills </li><li>Ability to complete work individually or in a team atmosphere </li><li>Ability to travel to repair facilities for onsite inspections and other in-person tasks as needed </li><li>Drivers License required </li></ul> <p>Tesla is an Equal Opportunity employer.
