<p>SUMMARY:</p> <p>The Account Representative I is primarily responsible for building or expanding their book of business through converting competitors' business and expanding their assigned medium-sized accounts to become large accounts. This role fosters customer satisfaction by maintaining customer contact and managing customer expectations.</p> <p>JOB DUTIES</p> <ul> <li>Increases revenue and profitability through generation of new business and further development of existing accounts. </li><li>Generates new leads by networking, cold calling, researching various directories and internet sites. </li><li>Routinely interacts face-to-face with customers to foster strong relationships and maintains satisfaction. </li><li>Understands complex requirements from customers for preparation of customized quoting. </li><li>Delivers effective sales presentations and ensures technical requirements are met. </li><li>Assists with on-site troubleshooting of customers' concerns. </li><li>Works with and coordinates vendor resources to build relationships and support sales. </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE</p> <p>Typically requires a bachelor's degree and zero (0) to two (2) years of experience or an equivalent combination.</p> <p>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of industrial products: power transmission, hydraulic, pneumatic, and industrial products. </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills. </li><li>A proficient understanding of key sales principles and best practices. </li><li>Ability to influence customers, while maintaining healthy relationships. </li><li>Ability to take initiative and work with limited direction. </li><li>Ability to multitask and manage time well. </li><li>Ability to use Microsoft Office. </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS:</p> <p>Travel required. May be required to be on-call nights or weekends, depending on need.</p> <p>LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS: Valid driver's license required. All company vehicles are subject to continuous video monitoring.</p> <p>COMPANY INFORMATION:</p> <p>Motion offers an excellent benefits package which includes options for healthcare coverage, 401(k), tuition, reimbursement, vacation, sick, and holiday pay.</p> <p>Compensation is from $65,000 to $90,000 annually.</p> <p>The pay may vary based on performance as this is a commission based role. If you are hired at Motion, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.</p> <p>Not the right fit?
