<p>Job Title: Controls Engineer IIJob Description</p> <p>The Controls Engineer II will lead portions of design and commissioning activities, troubleshoot complex automation issues, and contribute to project success through hands-on technical expertise and team leadership.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Lead design and commissioning activities for automation projects. </li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve complex automation issues. </li><li>Contribute to project success through technical expertise and leadership. </li><li>Support a small team of approximately 5 engineers. </li><li>Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>PLC programming </li><li>Hardware and panel design </li><li>HMI programming </li><li>VFD, Servo, and Drive Controllers expertise </li><li>Proficiency in MS Office </li><li>Customer-facing professionalism in both normal and high-stress situations </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Exposure to Legacy PLC5 (hardware, logic, HMI) </li><li>Background in automotive controls </li><li>Flexibility for changing schedules or work times </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>This position operates in a hybrid environment with approximately 50% of the time in the office, 30% at local customer sites, and 20% working from home. Expect overtime, with the team currently working around 55 hours per week, increasing to 60-70 hours per week when in the field.
