<p>Description</p> <p>Twitter</p> <p>Linkedin</p> <p>Facebook</p> <p>Google+</p> <p>Pinterest</p> <p>email</p> <p>The Station Agent will ensure efficient, safe, and effective operations of the North Hangar passenger operations and ensure the Ryan Air flight schedule is followed to enable effective passenger travel.</p> <p>Responsible for maintaining Ryan Air customer service standards.</p> <p>Assist in charter operators and client services.</p> <p>Maintain a clean and orderly facility suitable for passenger comfort.</p> <p>Coordinate vehicle and facility maintenance needs with the Director of GSE-F.</p> <p>Ensure passengers are checked in, and baggage is weighed appropriately.</p> <p>Load Ryan Air aircraft with freight and mail.</p> <p>Escort passengers to and from aircraft.</p> <p>Supervises the staging of flight loads.</p> <p>Assists customers with shipping, receiving, or locating their freight orders either in person or on the phone.</p> <p>Ensures that the proper processes are utilized to accept, store, and handle mail and freight</p> <p>Ensures that all mail and freight received is accurately processed, including input into TakeFlite.</p> <p>Ensures that an on-hand reconciliation is completed daily.</p> <p>Ensures that backhaul mail and freight is delivered to either the post office or mainline carriers in a timely manner.</p> <p>Responsible for maintaining ramp, mail, and freight storage areas.</p> <p>Assist with compliance with Federal, State, and local laws and regulations.</p> <p>Other duties as assigned.</p> <p>Competencies:</p> <p>Excellent communication and customer service skills.</p> <p>Ability to analyze and solve problems.</p> <p>Ability to provide leadership and professionalism.</p> <p>Ability to take directions and be flexible.</p> <p>Able to work independently as well as part of a team.</p> <p>Good computer skills.</p> <p>REQUIREMENTS</p> <p>Graduate of high school or equivalent.</p> <p>Prior airline experience preferred.</p> <p>This position is very active and may require standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing up to 8 - 10 hours a day.</p> <p>Requires frequent and routine lifting or moving items weighing over 70 pounds.</p> <p>Must be able to pass a ten year security background check for airport badging.</p> <p>Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record.</p> <p>Explore transportation and logistics industry job opportunities from Hawaii to Alaska,</p> <p>and Washington State to throughout the Caribbean.
