We are an equal opportunity employer; no information obtained during the recruitment/selection process is intended for any discriminatory purposes.</p> <p>Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule</p> <p>Grade: 211</p> <p>Salary: $52,418 - $85,894 Annually (Dependent on Qualifications)</p> <p>Department: Solid Waste</p> <p>E-mail: MelissaM2@cctexas.com</p> <p>ATTENDANCE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION ARE AS FOLLOWS: Non rotating 40 hour work week, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Must be available to work additional hours as needed.</p> <p>Who May Apply?</p> <p>All persons legally authorized to work in the United States</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Manage Solid Waste Compliance Programs and coordinate with respective Law Enforcement entities for the faithful execution of the City Ordinance pertaining to Solid Waste Operations.</p> <ul> <li>Enforce at a minimum the following city ordinances and any other applicable Rules and Regulations of the Municipal, State, and Federal Government; Section 21-70: Covered Loads, Sections 21-80: Hauler Permits, Section 21-72: Illegal Dumping, Section 22-2: Littering, and Section 21-88: Illegal Display of Hauler Permits. </li><li>Conduct Solid Waste Code Compliance daily operations at J.C. Elliot Transfer Station, Cefe Valenzuela Regional Landfill, Access roads to facilities, and City wide (when applicable). </li><li>Prepare legal documentation for court cases in conjunction with Police Department and Legal Department. </li><li>Expected to conduct operations and enforce city ordinance in accordance with Section 33-102 Graffiti. </li><li>Use Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to capture operational information for each graffiti case. </li><li>Perform final check and monitor over time to look for trends and improvement opportunities. </li><li>Review and approved proposed and executed expenditures to ensure all Local, State, and Federal procurement Policies, Rules and Regulations are followed. </li><li>Prepare proposed budget for assigned Division to ensure that sufficient resources are allocated to meet goals established in Annual Business Plan. </li><li>Prepare and sign technical and administrative reports to Executive Management. </li><li>Develop User Requirements and Scope of Work for Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contracts to meet necessary business needs. </li><li>Review incidents and reports from Risk Management and perform any necessary work practices to reduce or eliminate accident rates. </li><li>Attend all monthly City and neighborhood meetings. </li><li>Responsible for assisting with outreach and community education. </li><li>May be asked to perform other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Requires a Bachelor's Degree </li><li>Minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience </li><li>Two (2) years of supervisory/management experience required </li><li>A combination of education and pertinent experience may be considered </li><li>Code Enforcement I License issued by DSHS required </li><li>A valid driver's license is required.
