<p>Performs professional administrative work supporting the development, coordination, and administration of contracts, grants, Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs), and/or leases. Assists in managing the full lifecycle of assigned agreements, including preparation and processing of Board Agenda Items, contract documentation, compliance tracking, and file maintenance. Coordinates with other County departments and external partners, including state, federal, and community agencies, to ensure timely execution, monitoring, and reporting of agreements. Tracks key deadlines, renewal and notice requirements, and insurance documentation in accordance with established policies and procedures. Exercises independent judgment in organizing and managing assigned workload, although all major decisions are referred to an administrative superior for advice and direction, and in accordance with established policies and procedures. Performance is evaluated based on accuracy, timeliness, compliance, and achievement of assigned program objectives.</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>This position requires qualified candidates to possess one of the following:</p> <ul> <li>A Bachelor's Degree in Public/Business Administration or closely related field; minimum of two (2) years of experience in a staff or administrative capacity initiating/managing/coordinating contracts, grants, or leases, </li></ul> <p>OR</p> <ul> <li>An Unrelated Bachelor's Degree or related Associate's Degree; minimum of four (4) years of experience in a staff or administrative capacity initiating/managing/coordinating contracts, grants, or leases, </li></ul> <p>OR</p> <ul> <li>An unrelated Associate's Degree; minimum of five (5) years of experience in a staff or administrative capacity initiating/managing/coordinating contracts, grants, or leases, </li></ul> <p>OR</p> <ul> <li>Graduation from high school or an equivalent recognized certification; minimum of six (6) years of experience in a staff or administrative capacity initiating/managing/coordinating contracts, grants, or leases. </li></ul> <p>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>Preferred qualifications include:</p> <ul> <li>Three (3) years of experience with the preparation of contracts, amendments, MOUs, and/or grant applications, </li><li>One (1) year or more of experience preparing agenda items for a board, and </li><li>Paralegal experience (must specify on application). </li></ul> <p>THIS IS A GRANT- FUNDED/AT-WILL POSITION.</p>
