This position will be reporting to the office in Caldwell, Idaho.</p> <p>This person is an integral team member of our Design/Construction section working with Engineers, project managers, and technicians as well as cross-collaboratively with departments across the organization to maintain contracts within Federal Highway Administration and State compliance standards. This employee will be the coordinator for contractors, consultants, internal staff, and local entities as it relates to payment and compliance.</p> <p>Example of Duties</p> <ul> <li> <p>Federal Highway Administration & State Contract Compliance Assurance</p> </li><li> <p></p> </li><li>Certified Payroll Review <p></p> </li><li> <p>Subcontract Compliance Review</p> </li><li> <p>Civil Rights/B2GNOW</p> </li><li> <p>Provide technical assistance and advise project teams of Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) compliance</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain Construction Project Files and Correspondence (set-up and maintenance)</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare Partial or Final Payment request packages to enable Accounting to process payments to Contractors / Consultant and Local Entities:</p> </li><li> <p></p> </li><li>Understanding the contract, the activity and the program requirements and the accounting requirements to get the payment through the system <p></p> </li><li> <p>Financial Support for Design/Construction Project Manager</p> </li><li> <p></p> </li><li>Project Operating Budget <p></p> </li><li> <p>Reconciliations</p> </li><li> <p>Project Financial</p> </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>Some knowledge of:</p> <ul> <li>Grant or contract administration </li><li>Bookkeeping </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Interpreting, applying, and explaining laws and regulations </li><li>Interpreting narrative or demographic or statistical reports to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, or requirements </li><li>Collecting, organizing, and evaluating data and writing a narrative report of findings </li></ul> <p>Desired Qualifications</p> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Auditing Financial Documents </li><li>Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable </li><li>Financial Reconciliation & Reporting </li></ul> <p>Experience in any of the following software and/or systems:</p> <ul> <li>AASHTOWare </li><li>AMS </li><li>ProjectWise </li><li>SharePoint </li><li>MobileInspector </li><li>Microsoft Office Suite </li><li>BlueBeam/Adobe </li><li>Federal Aid Contract Compliance </li></ul> <p>Supplemental Information</p> <p>To learn more about the department, please visit the ITD website.
