BluWave was recently recognized by the Deloitte Fast 500 as one of the fastest growing, most innovative technology companies in North America.</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>BluWave is seeking a highly experienced, strategic, and results-oriented Senior Product Manager to own the vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution for our core Alpha Center product. The Alpha Center is our Salesforce-based platform providing a centralized digital hub for internal BluWave users, our private equity clients, and our network of service providers to interact seamlessly with BluWave. Critically, this platform represents a cornerstone of BluWave's future scaling strategy and is one of the company's highest strategic priorities.</p> <p>With 7-10 years of product management experience, ideally including significant experience with two-sided marketplaces, you will guide a dedicated cross-functional team (product, engineering) in their product activities and ensure effective product design to deliver innovative solutions that drive significant value. This is a critical leadership role for a highly visible, strategic initiative, requiring someone eager to move quickly and leverage cutting-edge tools. You will translate business goals, market opportunities, and user insights into a compelling product strategy and tangible results.</p> <p>Role & Team</p> <p>As the Senior Product Manager for Alpha Center, you will be the primary owner responsible for its success, guiding a product central to BluWave's growth ambitions. Reporting directly to the Head of Technology and Insights, you will guide the product's evolution, steer theproduct activities of the engineering team, and ensure effective product design. Given the Alpha Center's critical role in BluWave's long-term vision, this position offers significant strategic impact and visibility within the organization.</p> <p>We value speed, agility, and a forward-thinking mindset, actively exploring ways to leverage new technologies, including AI, to improve our processes and products. You will work closely with engineering leadership, marketing, sales, and executive stakeholders. The Alpha Center provides clients a platform to initiate projects, receive status updates, and manage connections with providers. For service providers, it's the interface for responding to opportunities, managing engagements, updating billing details, and connecting with clients. You will foster a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-impact features and continuous improvement across all user groups for this mission-critical platform.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Product Vision & Strategy: Define, articulate, and champion the long-term vision and strategic direction for the Alpha Center, ensuring it directly supports BluWave's key strategic priorities and overall business objectives. </li><li>Roadmap Ownership: Develop, maintain, and prioritize the product roadmap for Alpha Center based on user research, data analysis, market trends, competitive landscape, and stakeholder input. Clearly communicate roadmap priorities and rationale across the organization, emphasizing alignment with company strategy. </li><li>User-Centric Development: Lead deep user research (qualitative and quantitative) and analysis to intimately understand the needs, pain points, and workflows of private equity users, service providers, and internal teams interacting with Alpha Center. </li><li>Product Design Leadership: Ensure exceptional user experiences by guiding the product design process, ensuring outcomes are intuitive, effective, and aligned with product strategy. </li><li>Requirements Definition: Translate complex user needs and business requirements into clear, concise product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for the development team. </li><li>Engineering Collaboration: Partner closely with and guide the dedicated engineering team through the entire product lifecycle - from discovery and ideation through development, launch, and iteration - ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features aligned with the product vision. </li><li>Stakeholder Management: Effectively manage communication and build strong relationships with key stakeholders across engineering, marketing, sales, operations, and senior leadership to ensure alignment and gather input for this high- priority initiative. </li><li>Go-to-Market: Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams to develop and execute successful go-to-market strategies for new features and product releases. </li><li>Data-Driven Decisions: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics for Alpha Center. Monitor product performance, analyze user data and feedback, and leverage insights to inform prioritization and future iterations. </li><li>Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive activities, and emerging technologies relevant to B2B marketplaces, private equity, and SaaS platforms (especially Salesforce ecosystem capabilities). </li><li>Technology Leverage: Actively seek out and leverage new technologies, including AI tools, to accelerate product development cycles, enhance team productivity, and drive innovation. </li><li>Mentorship: Mentor junior product team members or others within the organization, fostering product management best practices. </li></ul> <p>Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience: 7-10 years of progressive Product Management experience, with a proven track record of owning and successfully launching/managing complex B2B software products or platform features, preferably those central to a company's core strategy. </li><li>Marketplace Expertise: Significant experience and deep understanding of two-sided marketplace dynamics is highly desirable. Proven ability to balance the needs of distinct user groups within a single platform. </li><li>Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams through influence, guide product direction, and drive projects to completion in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Strategic Thinking: Strong ability to think strategically, connect user needs with business goals, and develop a compelling product vision and roadmap aligned with major company objectives. </li><li>Bias for Action & AI Enthusiasm: A strong bias for action and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrates genuine excitement for proactively utilizing emerging technologies, particularly AI tools, to enhance productivity, innovation, and speed to market. </li><li>User Empathy & Design Sensibility: Deep expertise in user research methodologies and a passion for understanding user needs. Strong sensibility for user experience design and ability to guide design direction towards effective outcomes. </li><li>Execution: Proven ability to break down complex problems, define clear requirements (user stories, epics), and work effectively within an Agile/Scrum development process. </li><li>Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, make informed decisions, and measure success. Proficiency with analytics tools is expected. </li><li>Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively1 to both technical and non-technical audiences,2 including senior leadership. </li><li>Technical Aptitude: Comfortable discussing technical concepts, understanding system architecture (experience with Salesforce platform is a plus), and collaborating effectively with engineers on technical trade-offs. </li><li>Domain Knowledge (Preferred): Familiarity with the private equity/venture capital ecosystem is a plus. </li><li>Tools: Proficiency with product management and development tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Figma or similar design tools, product analytics platforms). </li><li>Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Design); MBA or advanced degree is a plus. </li></ul> <p>Work Expectations & Location</p> <p>This hybrid work role is based in Nashville, TN. We collaboratively work together in our modern office Monday through Thursday each week and offer flexibility to work from home on Fridays.
