<p>Registered Nurse (RN) - Residential Services (Community Home)</p> <p>Full Platinum Benefits | Supportive, Mission-Driven Team</p> <p>Join a compassionate and dedicated residential team committed to providing high-quality care in a respectful and supportive work environment.</p> <p>Position Overview</p> <p>The Registered Nurse (RN) supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in a residential setting, helping them achieve maximum independence while promoting health, dignity, and overall well-being. This role focuses on building meaningful relationships and delivering consistent, person-centered care aligned with agency values.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>Clinical Care & Coordination</p> <p>Provide nursing care, promote wellness, and monitor health needs; Coordinate care with doctors, clinics, and hospitals; Support medical appointments and hospital transitions; Educate individuals and staff on health conditions and care plans; Maintain medical records, update EMAR, and ensure medication compliance; Train and support staff on medical needs, competencies, and care plans; Perform specialized care (G-tubes, J-tubes, trach care); Support medication ordering and inventory processes.</p> <p>Health Education & Support</p> <p>Educate individuals and staff on medical conditions, treatments, and care plans (e.g., allergies, medications, diet); Provide guidance on chronic and acute health needs; Foster open, respectful communication with individuals served, families, and care teams</p> <p>Documentation & Compliance</p> <p>Maintain accurate medical records for all individuals supported; Update EMAR and report medication errors or concerns; Oversee proper disposal of medications and medical supplies per regulations</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>RN license in Rhode Island </li><li>Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program </li><li>Experience with chronic, acute, and mental health care </li></ul> <p>Core Values</p> <ul> <li>Teamwork & Empowerment: Foster collaboration and a positive workplace; Respect: Treat all individuals with dignity and fairness; Integrity: Uphold the highest ethical standards </li></ul> <p>Schedule & Benefits</p> <p>Full Time: 30 hours</p> <p>Shift:Sunday and Thursday 7am to 7pm; and 6 hours 1st shift on one or more of the following days Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday (flexibility needed)</p> <p>Pay Rate: $39 to $40 hourly commensurate with experience</p> <p>Top-notch Benefits: BCBS Health Insurance (HMO & PPO Plans); Low bi-weekly employee contributions; Delta Dental Insurance; Health Reimbursement Account (HRA); Eye Med Vision Insurance; Agency sponsored life insurance; 401K Retirement Plan; Vacation time; Sick time; Employee Assistance Program (EAP); Tuition Reimbursement up to ($2,400 a year); Aflac Insurance (Accident/Cancer/Life); Pet Insurance; Identity Theft Insurance; Career Development; Employee Health and Wellness events, Employee Discounts and more!</p> <p>EEO</p>
