<p>Broward Health Medical Center</p> <p>Shift: Shift 1</p> <p>FTE: 1.000000</p> <p>Summary:</p> <p>Provides leadership, in collaboration with the Chief Financial Officer, to facilitate optimal utilization of resources at the regional level and across the system. Promotes understanding and cooperation between the physicians and Region through communication, collaboration, and education. Facilitate improvements in clinical practice to achieve better performance, improved cost, reduced length of stay, fewer readmissions, and superior patient care. Assists Administration in reducing financial risks associated with denials that are due to providing medically unnecessary or preventative services and extended length of stays.
