<p>JOB OVERVIEW:</p> <p>We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual who will manage shipping/receiving & material handling for day-to-day operations. This role plays a key part in maintaining an organized and efficient production facility by supporting both shipping/receiving and production operations in accordance with company policies and safety standards.</p> <p>EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:</p> <ul> <li>GED Required </li><li>One-to-Three (1-3) years Logistics experience preferred </li><li>Two plus (2+) years of Forklift experience preferred </li></ul> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality. </li><li>Unload materials from delivery vehicles using pallet jacks, forklifts, or other equipment. </li><li>Assist with material transport throughout the facility using forklifts, overhead cranes, pallet jacks, conveyors, etc. </li><li>Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to customer and carrier requirements </li><li>Accurately enter shipping and receiving data into the ERP System </li><li>Label, organize, and store materials in the correct inventory locations </li><li>Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies or damages </li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. </li><li>Assist with periodic inventory counts and audits. </li><li>Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries and shipments. </li><li>Other ad hoc assignments </li></ul> <p>JOB REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to read a tape measure to the 16th of an inch. (Passing a written test is required) </li><li>Experienced in reading and interpreting blueprints. </li><li>Strong math, verbal, and literacy skills </li><li>Ability to manually lift 100 lbs safely and consistently </li><li>Experienced in the operation of material handling equipment including, but not limited to, forklift, overhead crane, conveying systems, etc. </li><li>Possess personable, outgoing communication skills to converse with diverse groups of people </li><li>Detail-oriented with strong planning skills; able to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines </li><li>Demonstrate professionalism and responsiveness in addressing internal and external service requests. </li><li>Ability to self-monitor work for accuracy and quality; receptive to feedback and dedicated to continuous improvement </li><li>Communicate, understand, and perform complex tasks with minimal supervision </li><li>Possess dependability to be consistently at work and on time </li><li>Possess a "Team" mentality with the ability to lead others and manage competing work demands </li></ul> <p>Available Schedule:</p> <ul> <li>Four 10-hour days.
