<p>Job Title: Mammography Technologist</p> <p>Location: MMC Southern Campus</p> <p>Department: Breast Center Stereotatic</p> <p>Req#: 0000192999</p> <p>Status: Per Diem</p> <p>Shift: Day</p> <p>Pay Range: $51.00 - $51.00 per hour</p> <p>Pay Transparency:</p> <p>The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey.</p> <p>The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.</p> <p>Job Overview:</p> <p>The Mammography Technologist performs routine and advanced mammography procedures within the scope defined by regulatory and departmental standards.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>ARRT Certification in radiography and mammography </li><li>Valid NJ State licensure </li><li>BLS through American Heart Association </li><li>Compliant in maintaining current continuing education credits as required by the FDA/MQSA and ACR </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>Previous Mammography experience </li></ul> <p>Scheduling Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Per Diem scheduling </li><li>Day Shift </li><li>Must be willing to cover other JW Breast Center sites as needed. </li></ul> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Performs routine mammography, diagnostic mammography, breast biopsies as required. DEXA scan procedures and general x-ray's as required. Knowledge of QC for all mammography equipment. All technologists are required for coverage at satellite offices as needed </li><li>Assists in maintaining QA and PI functions as directed. Understands and utilizes effective infection control, such as hand washing and universal precautions </li><li>Reviews last mammography exam in McKesson PACS and reports in mammography RIS system Consults Radiologist and/or other </li><li>Maintains technical competency in all digital technology related to mammography services: Mammography RIS, McKesson technology </li><li>Accesses and enters computer data for various patient and information requirements.
