<p>Job Title:Service Ex Rep Perioperative</p> <p>Location:Cooperman Barnabas Medical Ctr</p> <p>Department Name:Perioperative Support Services</p> <p>Req #:0000203380</p> <p>Status:per hour</p> <p>Shift:Day</p> <p>Pay Range: per hour</p> <p>Pay Transparency:</p> <p>The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey.</p> <p>The Compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience</p> <p>Job Overview:</p> <p>The Perioperative Service Excellence Rep's primary responsibility is to serve as CBMC's liaison between Perioperative areas patients and family the institution as a whole. The Service Excellence Rep provides a specific channel through which patients can seek solutions to problems, concerns, and unmet needs, in outpatient and PACU settings. The concierge serves as neutral facilitator in gathering patient's perspective, the health care provider/employee's perspective and coordinating/resolving the matter. The concierge is responsible to analyze and prepare reports based on information derived from patient interaction, for institutional use. The concierge is responsible to maintain effective collaborative relationships with nursing, physicians, allied health staff, patients and their families. The Service Excellence Rep will be responsible for escorting patients and family members throughout the perioperative service line, ensuring patients and family members get to the appropriate area.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent in health related field with 3-5 years experience in social sciences, other health-related professions such as nursing, social work, or counseling </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Must have demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communications skills </li><li>Must have demonstrated interpersonal skills for problem solving while eliciting information from poor or evasive communicators </li><li>Demonstrated successful collaboration with counterparts within the work area and throughout the organization </li><li>Analytical skills are required to analyze information and data, identify needs, and prepare in an organized fashion </li><li>Must have knowledge of computer tools, MIDAS or equivalent, Microsoft Office and third party websites i,e,Press Ganey </li><li>Strong conflict resolution skills, problem-solving skills, complaint management mediation training, conflict negotiation, and crisis intervention </li><li>Must be able to function objectively in hostile, sensitive, and stressful situation, work autonomously, 'think on one's feet', manage stress, anticipate, improvise, and synthesize extensive information to focus issue </li></ul> <p>RWJBarnabas Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer</p>
