We invest in our employees, with regular training, opportunities for advancement, and team events to bring everyone together.</p> <p>As a successful Risk Manager, you will:</p> <ul> <li>Review all assigned incoming Incident Reports, obtain clarification, and decide how to proceed (i.e., make a claim, subrogate, or other). </li><li>Maintain Incident Report files; ensure all proper documents are uploaded to the Incident Database and saved to the network drive as appropriate. </li><li>Notify appropriate individuals of incidents that meet specific criteria. </li><li>Work with adjusters on all assigned open claims </li><li>Coordinate receipt of insurance funds, including working with lenders and vendors, as needed. </li><li>Work with attorneys on the completion of Interrogatories and Requests for Documents related to lawsuits handled by our insurance carrier, and review with the Senior Risk Manager </li><li>Participate in mediations and deposition prep as applicable. </li><li>Subrogate against third parties to recover funds for damages incurred. </li><li>Complete necessary reporting as assigned </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Minimum Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Prior property and/or liability claims handling experience required. </li><li>Prior non-auto insurance litigation experience preferred. </li><li>A minimum of 1 year of general accounting experience is required. </li><li>Some college accounting coursework, preferred; High School diploma or GED required </li><li>Proficiency with the Internet and Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Outlook. </li><li>Excellent analytical skills as well as verbal and written communication skills with a customer service focus. </li><li>Ability to multitask and be a team player in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Detail-oriented with strong organizational, time management, problem-solving, and follow-through skills </li></ul> <p>Compensation:</p> <p>We are Proud to Provide the following:</p> <ul> <li>Access to benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance </li><li>Short-term and long-term disability </li><li>Life insurance </li><li>Generous Paid Time Off and holidays </li><li>Flexible spending account </li><li>401K with company match </li></ul> <p>#indcorp</p>
