We are seeking a PTA or an Athletic Trainer for this role, no certification is required to start, with the opportunity to become certified as an Orthotic Fitter, which will include a compensation increase.</p> <p>If you're eager to start a rewarding career in healthcare and make a difference in patients' lives, we want to hear from you!</p> <p>Monday Through Friday Schedule that will vary, so you must be flexible</p> <p>Will float between locations 3 Days in Bronx, 2 Days in Manhattan hours 8:30-5:30 M-F</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Assist with fitting and adjusting prefabricated orthotic devices, such as braces and supports, under the supervision of a certified clinician </li><li>Educate patients on proper use, care, and wear schedules for orthotic devices </li><li>Support clinical staff with patient intake, documentation, and follow-up care </li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient care and fitting areas </li><li>Ensure inventory and supplies are adequately stocked and organized </li><li>Collaborate with clinicians and administrative staff to deliver high-quality patient care </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent required </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills </li><li>Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity </li><li>Willingness to learn and work as part of a team </li><li>Ability to lift, carry, and position orthotic equipment and assist patients as needed </li><li>Previous experience in healthcare is a plus but not required </li></ul> <p>Preferred Backgrounds:</p> <ul> <li>Athletic Trainers (ATC) </li><li>Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA) </li><li>Physical Therapy Aides </li><li>Students or graduates of Kinesiology, Sports Medicine, or related fields </li><li>Additional Salary Detail The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
