<p>Kforce's client, a growing CPA/consulting firm, is seeking a CPA - Senior and Manager Levels for their expanding outsourced accounting practice in Garden City, NY.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Assist our clients with and oversee Staff Accountants </li><li>SEC audit and review preparation </li><li>Monthly financial closings </li><li>Financial modeling including budgeting, forecasting, and projections </li><li>Assistance with accounting procedures </li><li>Assessment and improvement of financial processes and internal controls </li><li>Prepare and review financial statements for both the public and private sector including disclosures for audit, review and compilation engagements </li><li>Assume responsibility of the efficiency of performance for engagements </li><li>Develop and maintain client relationships </li><li>Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data* Bachelor's degree with a focus in Accounting - CPA required </li><li>A minimum of 5-25 years of experience at a PCAOB Accounting Firm </li><li>Knowledge of SEC accounting with a strong understanding of accounting for equity and debt transactions </li><li>Working knowledge of GAAP and Statutory Accounting Principles </li><li>Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks </li><li>Possess outstanding project management and analytical skills; Must be able to prioritize </li><li>Outstanding communication skills </li><li>Knowledge of tax provisions a plus </li></ul>
