<p>The Gig:</p> <p>The Manager, Entertainment Facility & Rehearsal Operations will be based in our office/rehearsal facility based in Orlando, FL. As one of our Entertainment leaders this individual will be managing the daily operation of our rehearsal studio, rehearsal process, oversee the scheduling of creatives and other contractors to support cast changeovers, workshops and the ongoing rotation of our casts. This individual will be collaborating with the Entertainment leadership team to ensure all schedules are aligned and work prioritized with respect to the facility, rehearsal operations, cast changeovers and other business priorities.</p> <p>This position works fully in-person at our swanky Entertainment Rehearsal Facility in Orlando Florida, supporting a 7 day a week operation.</p> <p>What You'll Be Up To:</p> <p>Facility:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Manage and coordinate studio needs, cleaning services, repair and maintenance requests and general schedules with the Landlord</p> </li><li> <p>Manage a comprehensive schedule of rehearsal studios, studio bookings, load-in and load-out schedules</p> </li><li> <p>Oversee the facility's operating budget</p> </li><li> <p>Manage the procurement of supplies for the rehearsal studios, casts and contractors, some of which they will take with them onto our ships</p> </li><li> <p>Support the Director of Entertainment Technical in monitoring the shoreside Wardrobe operation and communicate goals and expectations to ensure needs are being met</p> </li><li> <p>Set up studio spaces based on the needs of each team - including the organization of props, furniture, audio/visual equipment etc.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage load-in and load-out process of rehearsal studios and spaces</p> </li><li> <p>Oversee facility inventories and supplies and develop / implement an inventory tracking system</p> </li><li> <p>Within reason and expertise, conduct minor repairs and maintenance, daily light cleaning, trash removal, and tidying & organization of the Facility</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate scheduling and contracting of local Circus or other rehearsal facilities as needed</p> </li></ul> <p>Rehearsal Operations:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Manage all day to day aspects of rehearsal operations, including any rehearsal operations providers or partners, scheduling & logistics</p> </li><li> <p>Oversees the Master Planning Calendar, with a focus on cast rotation planning across the fleet, studio scheduling, rental bookings, load-in / load-outs, as well as Entertainment team studio coverage</p> </li><li> <p>Partner with Entertainment Coordinators on the arrangement of Creative / Contractor travel, and Cast travel related to rehearsals and cast handovers</p> </li><li> <p>Manage daily tasks and needs of the creative teams, casts, and production teams while they're working in the rehearsal studio</p> </li><li> <p>Facilitate the payment of invoices and reimbursements</p> </li><li> <p>Work with various Creative partners to schedule and confirm availability of Creative Team members to lead studio workshops, rehearsals, and cast changeovers</p> </li><li> <p>Help to develop documentation tools for future rehearsals, including schedules, prop inventories, studio layouts, and other operational needs</p> </li></ul> <p>Orlando Personnel</p> <ul> <li> <p>Leads the rehearsal operations process and team including Rehearsal Stage Management Supervisor, Specialist Facility Operations & Casting, Coordinator Entertainment Rehearsal Operations and technical & production support</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborates with the Entertainment Leadership Team (Director Entertainment Operations, Director Entertainment Technical, Director Entertainment Creative and Sr Manager Music Operations) to ensure the daily needs of creative & production teams, casts, and others are properly prioritized and managed in the rehearsal facility and during the rehearsal operation</p> </li><li> <p>Oversees the recruitment, interviewing, and selection of rehearsal contractors including stage managers</p> </li><li> <p>Oversee the contracting of all rehearsal related contractors (stage managers, riggers, creatives and others) as needed for rehearsals, workshops and auditions</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with the Director Entertainment Technical on prioritizing work and providing support and leadership for the Supervisor Entertainment Wardrobe Operations</p> </li></ul> <p>General</p> <ul> <li> <p>Provide support to the Entertainment Team as needed</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain updated documentation of all applicable duties and make accessible to Entertainment team</p> </li><li> <p>All other duties as assigned</p> </li></ul> <p>SuperPowers Required:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Minimum 5 years' experience of people and process management in the entertainment/theater industry</p> </li><li> <p>A self-starter, who can roll up their sleeves and make ship happen with little supervision.
